Willa Ford‘s marriage to husband Mike Modano has come to an end. According to People, the two are going their separate ways.

“It is with great sadness that after five years of marriage, Willa and Mike have decided to divorce. They remain friends and wish each other success and happiness”, the couple said in a joint statement.

31-year-old Ford and 42-year-old Modana dated for four years before becoming engaged in 2006. The couple tied the knot in in Athens, Texas in 2007.

Modana retired from the Dallas Stars hockey team last year. Ford is best known for competing on season 3 of ‘Dancing with the Stars’. Currently, she appears in the Starz original drama ‘Magic City’.
