
Tony Scott commits suicide
Tony Scott died. The ‘Top Gun’ director committed suicide. According to TMZ, quoting the L.A. County Coroner, Scott jumped from the Vincent Thomas Bridge spanning San Pedro and Terminal Island around 12:30pm.
It looks like the 68-year-old director left a suicide note in his car. The police found Scott’s Toyota Prius parked on one of the eastbound lanes of the bridge.
Scott’s body was found at approximately 4:30pm, in the water, four hours after he jumped.
So far, the reason for his suicide remains unknown.
Tony Scott is Ridley Scott’s brother. He was famous for directing ‘Top Gun’, ‘Beverly Hills Cop II’, ‘Enemy of the State’ and ‘The Taking of Pelham 123′. Scott has been married three times and has two children.
