The football tight end for the Atlanta Falcons, Tony Gonzalez and his wife October took off their clothes to support People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA)'s anti-fur ad. "We should be protecting animals, not sacrificing their lives for the sake of fashion or luxury. October and I have changed many of our habits in light of the inhumane treatment of animals that occurs not only in the fur industry but also on factory farms", Tony declared. The player also talks about the benefits of stopping eat meat two years ago. "I'm going into my 13th year in the NFL, and I switched over [to a plant-based diet] two years ago. ... The day after a game, everybody's sore ... and I'm jumping rope and they're looking at me like, 'Man you're supposed to be the old guy on the team. You're acting like you're the youngest guy on the team'", 33 years old Tony said. And no, he had nothing against his wife appearing naked in the ad: "My wife is a pretty woman. She's like a flower. It's nice to be looked at."
