Being an Oscar winning is not necessarily making you life a fairy tale. 48-year-old Tatum O’Neal has checked back into rehab after having a cocaine relapse last month.
“Tatum made the decision to voluntarily check into rehab after having a relapse about a month ago when she began using cocaine again”, one source told Radar Online.
But it looks like she hasn’t chosen the best place to treat her addiction. “Tatum isn’t at a 12 step based treatment program, and that is a huge problem because someone with Tatum’s addiction needs to be at a rehab facility like Betty Ford or Cirque Lodge which adhere to the 12 step model”, the sourced added. It looks like, despite the fact that she has voluntarily entered rehab, Tatum is “refusing to embrace the 12 step AA model to get sober”.
The actress’ brother, Redmond is also in rehab, in Southern California for an addiction to heroin.
Tatum O’Neal received an Oscar at the age of 10 for her performance as Addie Loggins in ‘Paper Moon’ (1973) opposite her father Ryan O’Neal.
