Taryn Manning arrested for assaulting her makeup artist

Taryn Manning is a strong woman. Strong enough to assault a person that is. The ’8 Mile’ actress was arrested in New York Thursday morning, October 11. The reason? Taryn assaulted her makeup artist.

According to TMZ, the 33-year-old actress was kicking and punching her makeup artist at 5 a.m. The two women were at New York’s swanky Dream Downton hotel.

The actress was charged with assault. But she has already hired criminal defense attorney Joe Tacopina.

Taryn Manning is best known for starring in ‘Crazy/Beautiful’ and ‘Hustle and Flow’. Recently, she made a move away from the big screen to music. Taryn released a dance single, ‘Send Me Your Love’. Previously  she recorded a song for the ’8 Mile’ soundtrack.
