Tameka Raymond is still in a lot of pain after her son Kile died in a jet-ski accident one month ago. User‘s ex-wife then lost custody of her other two children to the R&B singer.

During the nasty custody battle, Usher called Tameka a “gold digger”. Now, Tameka fires back.

In an interview with “Entertainment Tonight”, Tameka says that losing Kile “will probably be the greatest pain I will ever experience, losing him. But, it gave me strength beyond measure and it made me determined to fight for my other [children]“. Tameka is also a mother to Usher Raymond V, 4, and Naviyd, 3, her kids with Usher.

Tameka also defended herself on Usher’s claims that she was a “money differ”. “[This] is the typical stereotype. If a woman who has lesser means even if she is successful and hard-working, does her thing in her own right marries someone, what they’ll call ‘marrying up,’ who has more money, they’re automatically a gold digger”, the Atlanta hairstylist and wardrobe stylist told ET.

In the same interview, Tameka confessed that Usher cheated on her with two of her bridesmaids from their wedding. “I hate to say it, but I somewhat empathize with her. I feel that she was vulnerable. She fell into somewhat of a trap… We all know how charming he can be”, she said about one of the bridesmaids.

Tameka and Usher were married in August 2007 and divorced in 2009. The R&B singer was given the primary physical custody of their children on August 24, 2012.
