Ashlee Simpson could say Nicole Richie is her shining star and her career angel! Lionel Richie's daughter wants to have Jessica Simpson's sister as her co-star for her still-in-development TV show. According to The National Enquirer, quoting a source: "Nicole adores Ashlee, and she truly believes in her talent". Nicole's new show, which hasn't yet a title, will be a scripted half-hour sitcom that presents her as a "professional woman with complicated family relationships".The sitcom's idea came from Nicole and is inspired by her own life. Actually Nicole will be the sitcom's producer alongside Warren Bell and Jamie Tarses. No premiere date has been revealed so far.

We just wonder if this friendship will end up just like the other Nicole's friendship with Paris Hilton!?
