Best dressed or worst dressed, the stars have relaunched fashion trends at the Oscars 2014 last night in Los Angeles. The cape-dress inspired by Gwyneth Paltrow, the one shoulder dress style inspired by Halle Berry and the pulling out leg that Angelina Jolie inspired.

  • The cape dress:

Kate Hudson wore n an ivory Atelier Versace gown featuring a plunging neckline, gathered fabric at the waist, and cape detail. She added height with Brian Atwood shoes.

Penelope Cruz  wore an elegant Giambattista Valli gown with a cape and black bow detail. She added sparkle with Chopard jewels.

Camila Alves wore a custom blush silk crepe Gabriela Cadena gown with front and back drape details. She wore Charlotte Olympia shoes.

Jada Pinkett Smith donned a salmon Versace dress with a halter neckline and Ferragamo shoes and a clutch. She accessorized with Cartier jewels.

Lady Gaga amazingly wore a metallic Versace dress with long scarf left on her shoulders, Brian Atwood shoes and Lorraine Schwartz jewels.

Kelly Osbourne, the Fashion Police co-host wore a white fitted Badgley Mischka gown with a metallic lace overlay and custom Aldo shoes.

  • The leg posture:

Kerry Washington wore a deep lavender strapless Jason Wu gown and Jennifer Meyer jewelry. Despite being heavily pregnant, Kerry showed off her leg in Angie’s famous way.

Jada Pinkett Smith’s Oscars style puts her in both categories: cape and “leg”. Will Smith’s wife wore a salmon Versace dress with a halter neckline and she shyly showed off her leg.
