Nice idea of a flash mob for the celebration of Janet Jackson's career-spanning 'Number Ones' compilation release on November 17! Flash Mob America organised a Janet Jackson flash mob to take place at the Grove in Los Angeles on Saturday, November 14. ( a "flash mob" is  when a group of people break into uniform dance in the random-est of places and usually in front of unsuspecting passers by.) At one moment, Janet herself appeared at one balcony above the crowd!
Janet will open The 2009 American Music Awards (AMAs) in Hollywood on November 22. She will perform a medley to kick off the ceremony, which sees Michael Jackson nominated in five categories.
