R.I.P. Brittany Murphy

The huge sadness that Brittany Murphy’s death has brought in her family made her father, Angelo Bertolotti decide to not come to the funeral. He hasn’t seen Brittany in more than one year and had never met Simon Monjack. “If I wanted to go, I would go, but I don’t want to see her that way. She was flawless to me. She was a little bright child. I have only good memories about her. She’s a memory to me now. To me she’s off making a movie somewhere”, he declared for E!News. “I can’t believe it really. It happened so fast; I’m just trying to figure it all out right now. I’m very upset by it”, 83 years old Bertolotti said, admitting he had no idea Bittany was sick just before she died.

Brittany Murphy’s funeral will take  place this Thursday, Christmas Eve, at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Hollywood Hills. It seems that the funeral service is ‘Strictly Private’. We recall you that actress Brittany Murphy died after suffering cardiac arrest in the North Hollywood home on Sunday. Although the autopsy indicates that the actress died for natural causes, the L.A. County Coroner is still waiting for the toxicology report, as well as the histopathology (study of her organs and tissues) and neuropathology (study of her brain).

For those who may still think Brittany Murphy’s death wasn’t natural and may think it was connected to the fact that she was a famous person, the will she left could be conclusive in this matter. Brittany Murphy’s will was executed before she met her husband Simon Monjack. In the will the actress specifies she leaves her estate to her mother, Sharon Murphy. Brittany’s house was held in trust, a trust created several years before she met Monjack. Unless Brittany made an amendment to this will after meeting Monjack, he is not mentioned in it.

According to TMZ.com, Brittany Murphy’s autopsy is complete. The site reports that there are no signs of foul play, but also there was nothing that pointed to a cause of death. So it seems there is need for more tests to be done. The L.A. According to TMZ.com, Brittany Murphy’s husband, Simon Monjack said he refuses an autopsy on his deceased wife. But, it seems that, despite his wish, the L.A. County Coroner’s office will perform an autopsy on Murphy in the next two days.
Ed Winter from the L.A. County Coroner’s Office declared that foul play is not suspected. Although there were some prescriptions found in Murphy’s house they seem legally and they will be examined. Toxicology tests will be performed, which could take up to six weeks.

Earlier today we told you that Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Chris Henry suffered serious injuries and was battling for his life after falling out of a truck following a domestic dispute with fiancee Loleini Tonga.
