Sofia Coppola, Francis Ford Coppola’s daughter is pregnant with her second child with musician Thomas Mars. According to People, Mars, confirmed the news during one interview with Chicago’s WXRT radio station. “I heard the story that if you play Bach, [babies in the womb] get smarter”, he joked about.
38 years old Coppola already has a 3 years old daughter, Romy with Mars. The couple has been together for four years.
Currently director Sofia Coppola lives in Paris and is editing her latest film ‘Somewhere’ starring Academy Award winner Benecio Del Toro (‘Traffic’) and Michelle Monaghan. She already won an Academy Award for Original Screenplay for 2003 ‘Lost in Translation’ starring Bill Murray and Scarlett Johansson. Sofia was also  the first American woman to be nominated for an Academy Award for Best Director. Previously Coppola was married to Spike Jonze, director of ‘Being John Malkovich,’ ‘Adaptation’ and ‘Where the Wild Things Are’.
Mars is the lead vocalist for Grammy-nominated French rock band Phoenix.
