Slash wants to be a free man again. The guitar legend has filed for divorce from his wife of nine years, Perla Ferrar.

According to People, the former Guns N’ Roses guitarist filed the papers in Los Angeles County Superior Court on Monday, August 30. He cited irreconcilable differences as the reason of his divorce and listed July 15 as the date of separation.
“I can confirm the divorce papers were filed and from Slash’s perspective the split is amicable”, the guitarist’s representative said although sources close to the couple said the separation “is extremely acrimonious”.
Slash is asking for joint physical and legal custody of their children, sons London Emilio and Cash Anthony.
TMZ.com reports that Slash, real name Saul Hudson, is willing to pay spousal support. There is no prenuptial agreement signed by Slash and his future former wife. Slash’s attorney is Laura Wasser, who also helped Britney Spears, Angelina Jolie and Kiefer Sutherland throughout their divorces.
