Simon Cowell NOT Engaged!

Simon Cowell denies the rumors going around saying that he is engaged to 'American Idol' makeup artist Mezhgan Hussainy.

"I spoke to Simon in London yesterday afternoon, just before he took his flight back to LA. I asked him: 'Look, are you engaged? Is it true?,' and he said, 'No! No. I'm not engaged'", Cowell's longtime publicist and close friend Max Clifford declared for UsMagazine.com. "Yes, they are they an item. Yes, they're happy. But they're not engaged. That's straight from Simon's mouth", Max Clifford added.
Cowell was spotted recently with Mezhgan Hussainy being very close, after he also invited her as his date to his 50th birthday party last October (soon after splitting from girlfriend of six years Terri Seymour).

Now 36 years old Mezhgan Hussainy is in everyone's attention after being seen wearing a new diamond ring while dining with Cowell Sunday night at Mr. Chow's in London. Not to mention that, during a British TV appearance on Tuesday, Cowell gushed of Hussainy: "She's the one...She's very special".  But, so far, if we were to believe what Clifford  says, the couple is just enjoying its romance.
