Is Simon Cowell engaged to Mezhgan Hussainy or not? Less than a week ago, Cowell's longtime publicist and close friend Max Clifford declared for UsMagazine.com that the mogul is not engaged.

Now RadarOnline.com, claims Mezhgan Hussainy told the site's vice president David Perel  exclusively that she and Simon are officially engaged. And she was wearing an engagement ring while saying that. Can we believe this?
Anyway, the couple met on American Idol several years ago when Simon was involved into a different relationship. Then what began as friendship ended as a  romance story between the two of them.
For the moment, UsMagazine.com and RadarOnline.com agree with one thing: that Simon’s publicist Max Clifford described the one year relationship as a beautiful one.
"They are very suited. She is someone who is independent and says what she thinks and feels, and he likes that. He's probably the happiest I have ever known him in the nine years I've been working with him", both sites cited him saying.
