Simon Cowell might soon become the highest-paid star on TV. According to The Daily Mirror, he signed a $100 million deal a year to bring 'X Factor', his British series, to American TV.
It seems that Cowell will only produce the American version of 'X Factor', but will not appear on. On the other hand, ex 'American Idol' judge, Paula Abdul might be included in the project.
In the same time, Cowell's contract with 'American Idol' will be extended for another two years.

o.k. people, this guy is not worth that much...no one should be paid that kind of salary in all of America. Maybe he can help this Country's deficit and do a good deed. And, oh, I thought, we were in a recession, yeah right!
