Shaun White was arrested for public intoxication and vandalism on Sunday, September 16 around 2 AM.

According to TMZ, the 26-year-old Olympic gold medalist was detained after getting drunk at a Nashville hotel and injuring himself.

It looks like a drunk White began trashing his hotel room. He pulled several fire alarms causing an evacuation of the entire hotel. When confronted by hotel staff, he ran. That wasn’t a very good idea for wasted person. White fell and injured himself. His mug shot confirms that the snowboarder and skateboarder fell and he’s got a black eye.
Despite being arrested, White was originally taken to a hospital for treatment first.

The Nashville Metro Police Dept. told TMZ that a citizen tried to stop White from running, but he got kicked by White.
