Rufus Wainwright To Marry on August 23

Rufus Wainwright wedding: he will marry Jorn Weisbrodt

Rufus Wainwright is ready to say “I do”. The singer and his longtime boyfriend Jorn Weisbrodt will get married this on Thursday, August 23.

According to the New York Post, Rufus and his German arts-administrator fiance will tie knot at the singer’s home in Montauk, New York.

Yoko Ono and Carrie Fisher are going to be among the 250 wedding guests.

39-year-old Wainwright and Weisbrodt began dating in 2007. They became engaged in late 2010.

In February 2011, Wainwright  and Lorca Cohen (daughter of musician Leonard Cohen) welcomed a baby girl, Viva Katherine Wainwright Cohen. Wainwright, Weisbrodt and Cohen share custody over the baby girl.
