Roman Polanski Arrested in Switzerland After 31 years!

Although this year's Zurich Film Festival was set to honor Roman Polanski for his lifetime career, he will not be there! 76 years old famous director got arrested for the same rape case he was blamed for more than 30 years. He was caught by Swiss authorities when he tried to enter Switzerland yesterday.
In 1978, Polanski pleaded guilty of having an unlawful sexual intercourse with a 13 years old minor, Samantha Gailey (now known as Samantha Geimer). It seems that Polanski has invited the girl for a private photo shoot for the French edition of Vogue. "Everything was going fine; then he asked me to change, well, in front of him. It didn't feel right, and I didn't want to go back to the second shoot", Geimer declared in 2003. But she accepted anyway to go for a second photo session which took place at Jack Nicholson's house in Mullholland area. "We did photos with me drinking champagne. Toward the end it got a little scary, and I realized he had other intentions and I knew I was not where I should be. I just didn't quite know how to get myself out of there. I said no several times, and then, well, gave up on that", she said.
Anyway, before the sentence was given he left the United States and lived in France ever since, in order to avoid being arrested.
Sandi Gibbons, spokeswoman for the Los Angeles County district attorney's office reported the U.S. Justice Department has collaborated with Swiss authorities in securing the arrest.
