Rihanna Receives “The Woman Of The Year” Trophy from Glamour Magazine!

Rihanna really looked like a sensual mermaid in her ivory satin Stephane Rolland gown at a women’s awards ceremony in New York. The 21 years old singer received “The Woman Of The Year” trophy at the Glamour magazine bash as a reward for her career, fashion sense, charity work and her bravery following her assault by ex-boyfriend Chris Brown. Rihanna accepted the award from supermodel Iman who introduced the singer by saying: “This year, we saw a different face of Rihanna. She’s an indelible image of worldly pain and now, more than ever, I am more than impressed with her honesty and courage. She has taken her own scars and used them to create a new story of strength and awareness.”
“Sorry, I’m PMS-ing. I couldn’t possibly make it up here in this dress. As usual, I decided to wear the tightest dress I could find”, Rihanna said once she got one the stage.
The award comes just days after Rihanna opened up for the first time about her relationship with Chris Brown on U.S. TV show Good Morning America. “I am shaking right now. I am so nervous. But I am overwhelmed and honoured over this honour”, she added.
