Some people earn too much money for nothing. Take Rihanna for example. The 24-year-old singer is set to earn $8 million for switching the Christmas lights on at a London shopping mall. 8 million DOLLARS!!!

According to Celebuzz, the singer is more than happy to to flick the switch and perform a concert for 20,000 fans. The event will take place at the Westfield shopping centre in Stratford.

“Rihanna’s thrilled she has been asked again. She knows its a big deal and is totally up for it, if it fits in with her schedule”, one source told The Sun.

Westfield shopping centre is actually promoting its post-Olympics image. And what better way to do it than having Rihanna singinf for the fans. “Wesfield have had a great year due to the Olympics and want to fork out to celebrate. Even though the final contract is still being thrashed out, they’re prepared to pay up to £5 million ($8 million) for her. Organizers are expecting around 20,000 people to swamp the park”, the source added.
