Randy Quaid: the $10, 000 Bill Paid! Too Late!

To make the long story short: Randy Quaid is starting to feel sorry for not paying his hotel bill. That is why after a warrant was issued for their arrest last week on three felonies -- burglary, conspiracy and defrauding an innkeeper in the San Ysidro Ranch case, the man paid the first $ 5,000 from the $ 10, 000 unpaid bill.

Yesterday, Randy and his wife Evi signed a check for the remaining $5,000 balance. Unfortunately, for them, that doesn't mean they're out of the charges yet.
The funny thing is that the two of them also spent $ 40,000!!! on their bails! How stupid is that? You don't pay $10,000 and you get to lose $ $40, 000 (and a jail conviction maybe)!
The couple will still face the court on October 19, the Santa Barbara County D.A. has reported.
