Rachel Weisz & Katie Holmes’ Rivalry Over Jacqueline Kennedy Role!

When two women have to do the same job, it always sounds like a competition. Rachel Weisz and Katie Holmes are both playing Jacqueline Bouvier Kennedy Onassis in two different movies, so is there some rivalry between these two?

“She’s a fantastic actress. She will be fabulous. It’s not a competition. I’m surprised more people haven’t played her thus far. It seems strange there hasn’t been many versions. But it’s great she has the opportunity to play her as well”,  Jacqueline Bouvier Kennedy Onassis – Weisz told People about Jacqueline Bouvier Kennedy Onassis – Holmes at Thursday’s NYDG’s Rx Haiti benefit in New York.

Now, in order to make an objective opinion about their performances, we tell you that 40 years old Weisz is going to play in the big-screen drama ‘Jackie’ directed by husband Darren Aronofsky. The movie pictures the days following President John F. Kennedy’s 1963 assassination. Meanwhile, 31 years old Holmes will star in the History Channel’s eight-hour miniseries, ‘The Kennedys’, costarring Greg Kinnear.
