Prince William turns 30
It’s a big day for Prince William today: he turns 30! While he is getting older, William inherits $15 million from his late mother Princess Diana. William was supposed to get the money when he was 25-year-old, but a modification in his mother’s will after her death in 1997 changed it.
Despite getting so much money, William is working for living. He makes $60,000 a year for his job in the Royal Air Force. That may change at the end of the year when he needs to decided if he wants to continue with that work, or he wants to pursue his royal duties full time.
Last April, Prince William married 30-year-old Kate Middleton. Recently, he admitted he would love to have babies with his wife.
William is Princess Diana’s first son with Prince Charles. The former couple are also parents to 27-year-old Prince Harry.
