Prince Albert II of Monaco is ready to get married. According to People quoting the Mediterranean principality's royal palace, he will marry South African former swimmer Charlene Wittstock. "Everyone here is extremely, extremely happy", the palace said.
So far no one knows the wedding's date. 52-year-old Albert and 32-year-old Charlene first appeared in public together at the 2006 Winter Olympic opening ceremonies in Turin. Since 2007 when she came to Monaco, Charlene has become friends with both his sisters, Princesses Stephanie and Caroline.
Last Weekend the pair attended Crown Princess Victoria of Sweden and Prince Daniel Westling, Duke of Vastergotland's wedding in Stockholm.
Prince Albert II of Monaco is the son of late film star Grace Kelly and the late Rainer III, Prince of Monaco and this will be his first marriage. On the other hand he has two love-children: a 18-year-old daughter and a 7 year-old son.
