Many people say that Angelina Jolie is a cold and serious woman. For those people, her role as Maleficent suits her very well. The first photo of Angelina as the Disney villain has been unveiled. The picture shows the 37-year-old actress sporting the “Sleeping Beauty” bad girl’s famous horns. She also features prosthetics on her cheeks and some wild-colored contact lenses.

Production on the movie started last Wednesday. It must be funny to film with Jolie wearing so much makeup.

The movie tells the story of Disney’s most beloved villain, Maleficent, from the 1959 classic ‘Sleeping Beauty’. The film focuses the events that hardened her heart and drove her to curse the baby, Aurora.

The movie also stars Elle Fanning, Sharlto Copley, Miranda Richardson and Imelda Staunton. The film, directed by Robert Stromberg, is scheduled to hit theaters on March 14, 2014.

Angelina Jolie is not the only actress who plays a villain character this year. Julia Roberts and Charlize Theron both played The Queen in movies based on the fairy tale ‘Snow White’ by the Brothers Grimm.

In another news about the mother-of-six, Jolie may not get married this summer. The actress became engaged to Brad Pitt in April after dating him for 7 years. But their busy schedules may not allow a summer wedding after all.
