Peaches Geldof

Peaches Geldof

Last night Peaches Geldof went to a party in Hollywood wearing a T-shirt with the Confederate Flag risking to be considerate a racist.

The wonder is: did she know about the issue or not?

Usually the southern flag is considered as a symbol of racism because of its links to slavery. It was used by the Confederate States of America, which supported slavery, during the American civil war from 1861 to 1865.

We can't imagine Peaches knowing what she was doing by wearing that t-shirt, but she obviously wanted to have the attention by matching it with a studded dog collar and a padlock necklace.
Currently, 21 years old Geldof, who dates 37 years old director Eli Roth, tries to revive her career after American artist Ben Mills posted naked pictures of her in the net after one night full of sex and drugs. Due to those pictures, she lost her contract with lingerie manufacturer Ultimo.

You go, girl! The battle flag looks great. It is not a symbol of racism. It is a symbol of the fight for freedom and self-determination. Next time wear the first national flag instead. The morons in the media don't recognize it, but the rest of us do.

It's a funny thing about slavery. At the beginning of the War of Northern Agression, slavery was legal in Maryland, Kentucky, Washington, D.C., New Jersey, New York, Illinois and Michigan. It had only just been outlawed in Mass., although some slaves still existed in Boston way after the end of hostilities. The Confederate Battle Flag is not a representation of slavery, never has been nor ever will be. It is only revisionist history that has made is so. But then some people also believe that the Civil War was fought to free the slaves in the South. How naive. Just remember, the Immancipation Proclamation only freed the slaves in those states in active rebellion against the Union. It did not eliminate slavery or free the slaves in the north. Look it up!

maybe if they understood history they could say something about the Confederate States (Battle) Flag. Just because a few stupid racist groups try to use the "Battle Flag" not the true national flag of the C.S.A doesn't make it a slave holding nation because the U.S.A was in the slave trade longer than the C.S.A. They just wanted to exercise their "Constititional Right" when they felt the Government was interfering with state laws that were outside the constitutional powers of the Government.and if you noticed the grammer errors in the first lines of the story it makes me wonder if the person writing the article actually reads the stories they write or if they just make judgement calls on what they see and not asking questions and finding the truth.
