As we previously told you, ex 'American Idol' judge, Paula Abdul made a statement in which she congratulated Ellen DeGeneres for replacing her as the new show's judge. But it all seemed almost too good to be true, it was actually impossible for Abdul to not have hard feelings for being replaced.

After all, we all like to think about us as being irreplaceable. So Abdul took the first chance she got to make a little fun of Ellen at the VH1 Divas! Live Concert in Brooklyn, New York on Thursday night.
Paula wore Ellen's usual uniform of a blazer with trousers and sneakers while performing one of her hits. "Why y'all staring at me? Can't a girl try out a new job? All kidding aside, nothing but love Ellen and I wish you the best of luck and congratulations on your new gig", Paula joked. But  was her humor  that innocent? It is hard to tell! Women have such a gift of pretending when they want to!

Soon after Paula Abdul mocked her, Ellen DeGeneres responded on her Twitter page that she understands what huge responsability that being a judge in 'American Idol' show implies, adding: " Nothing but love for you too". Smart girl, Ellen!
