Life has to go on for Lisa Niemi. Patrick Swayze‘s wife has started dating again. According to People, quoting her representative, 56-year-old Lisa is seeing jeweler Albert DePrisco. “It’s new, and they’re taking it slow”, her representative said.

Good for her! Lisa has been a very good wife for Patrick for 34 years until his death. The actor died in September 2009 of pancreatic cancer. Lisa was next to Patrick throughout his battle with cancer for years.
In 2011, she unveiled a wax sculpture of the actor in Hollywood. “”It became clear to me that someone had put a lot of love into this, for a man I loved so very much”, she said at the time.

Back in 2010, in one interview she gave for People, Lisa talked about healing after her husband’s death.  “I know I’m stronger now. The fact that I’ve had some good days definitely gives me hope that I can have more”, she said.

Lisa and Patrick first met in 1970 when he was 18 years old and she was 15 years old. Lisa was taking dance lessons from Patrick’s mother. They married in 1975.  The couple had no children together.
