Paris Hilton
Paris Hilton is facing a $35,000,000 lawsuit after a hair extension company claimed she signed a multi-million dollar contract to use and promote their products, but she never did.
Hairtech International’s Dream Catcher filed a lawsuit in L.A. County Superior Court saying that Paris got over $3.5 million since agreeing to become their spokesperson back in 2007. The company pretends that Paris didn’t respect the terms of their contract and she was “seen in magazines and on television not wearing [their] hair extensions and was in fact wearing competitors’ hair extension products”.
They also say that Paris harmed their image in 2007 when she went to jail, because their contract was specific that she would “obey the law”.
Hairtech claims that “more than 600 hair extension professionals” were scheduled to attend at one party, but because Paris didn’t showed (she was in jail), they lost the opportunity to sell their products which would have brought them $6.6 million.
Hairtech is accusing Paris of fraud and deceit and ask for $35,000,000.
