Nicole Scherzinger Is Taking Cheryl Cole’s Role on ‘The X-Factor’!

Just weeks after Cheryl Cole was announced as the new judge in the upcoming American ‘X-Factor’ show, she was replaced by Nicole Scherzinger.

Originally, the ex-’Pussycat Dolls’ singer was supposed to co-host the show with Steve Jones, but things have changed.
According to TMZ.com, the reason Cheryl was replaced was her English accent. Producers thought that it would be too difficult for an American audience to understand her accent. Another reason could be the fact that Cheryl and one of the other judges, Paula Abdul don’t like each other very much.
Apparently, producers want Cheryl to go back to serve the UK version of the show, but she’s upset enough to consider leaving the show definitely.
So far, Simon Cowell made no comment about the issue.
