Finally Nicole Richie and Joel Madden are getting married. The couple started dating in December 2006 and have two children: Harlow, 2, and Sparrow, 5 months. The rumors about the two of them getting married were on and off for several months last year, soon after Nicole gave birth to their second child, in September.

But now the news is true and they both confirmed it. "Yep. i'm engaged. Very happy. Yeah we've been engaged for a while so your all kind of late on that. But Thanks for the hoopla all the same. P.s. thats why i love my family and friends. None of them are sources. All good tight lipped people who let us enjoy it! Thanks everybody", Madden wrote on his Twitter page on Monday night.
Nicole also said Monday night during a taping of the 'Late Show with David Letterman' that they are going to get married. After that she went out to the New York restaurant Abe & Arthurs for dinner. "She was glowing. She was telling her table how happy she was", a source told People.
