Miss America 2010: Caressa Cameron

Wearing a bright yellow satin gown and stunning chandelier earrings, Miss Virginia Caressa Cameron was crowned Miss America 2010 at the Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino in Las Vegas. The event was hosted by former 'Saved by the Bell' star Mario Lopez.

Alongside this reward, 22 years old Cameron from Fredericksburg, Virginia won a $50,000 scholarship. She is currently a broadcast journalism student at Virginia Commonwealth University and hopes to become an anchor.
Caressa Cameron left behind also beautiful Miss California Kristy Cavinder.
As usually the interview question included a topic that is indeed important, but far from being a Miss America's concern: childhood obesity. "We need to get our kids back outside, playing with sticks in the street like I did when I was little. Expand your mind, go outside and get to see what this world is like", Cameron said.
