Miley Cyrus Not Engaged!

Miley Cyrus engaged? No, she’s not! The 19-year0old singer/actress was seen wearing a “diamond ring” as she attended a charity event hosted by Muhammad Ali on Saturday, March 24. The former ‘Hannah Montana’ was joined by her on again, off again boyfriend  Liam Hemsworth.

While everyone (including us) rushed to conclude the two were engaged, Miley explained the ring situation via Twitter. “I’m not engaged. I’ve worn this same ring on this finger since November! People just wanna find something to talk about! It’s a topaz people!”, she wrote.

Actually she was the one adding speculation, when, earlier last week, she posted a photo of the ring with no mention about the “TOPAZ”. She could have said: “Here’s my TOPAZ ring, people!” But she preferred to keep the silence and let people to “find something to talk about”. And we did! Don’t you just love when stars begin rumors about themselves and then try to make it as if someone else did. Plus, they also feel “hurt” about it?

Now maybe they are not engaged (yet), but Miley and Liam seemed very close during the event over the weekend. They were “attached at the hip inside, looking happier than ever”, one source revealed.

This makes us consider they may be engaged, but not telling. They (meaning Miley) prefer to have people talking about it now AND later they (meaning Miley) will finally decided to open up about the engagement. “We (meaning I) wanted to enjoy out engagement in private, people”, she would then say. This sounds very much like something she would do.

Miley started dating Liam back in 2009 after meeting him on the set of their movie ‘The Last Song’. They briefly split twice during their relationship. The last time they got back together again was in early 2011.
