Mike Starr died in Utah yesterday. He was 44-year-old. According to TMZ.com, the former Alice in Chains bassist and ‘Celebrity Rehab’ star’s body was found in a Salt Lake City home.
Last month he was arrested for felony possession of a controlled substance. He had 6 Xanax pills and 6 Opana (painkiller) pills the moment he was detained.
“It’s a terrible shock and tragedy”, his father told the website.
So far, the case is under investigation.
