Michael Shannon Is Villain Zod in ‘Superman’!

We know who’s going to be the villain in the upcoming Superman film: Michael Shannon.

The Oscar nominated actor will play General Zod ‘Superman: Man of Steel’.
“Zod is not only one of Superman’s most formidable enemies, but one of the most significant because he has insights into Superman that others don’t. Michael is a powerful actor who can project both the intelligence and the malice of the character, making him perfect for the role”, Zach Snyder, the director of the new film said.
Previously, Zod was played by Terence Stamp.
Shannon will join the other cast actors: Amy Adams as Lois Lane, Diane Lane and Kevin Costner as Martha and Jonathan Kent, the adoptive parents of Clark Kent.
