‘Melrose Place’ Actress Amy Locane-Bovenizer Provokes Fatal Car Accident!

‘Melrose Place’ actress Amy Locane-Bovenizer was involved in one collision that left one woman dead and a man in critical condition.

The actress left the scene of the accident, the Star-Ledger reports. The incident took place at around 9 PM Sunday in Montgomery, near Princeton. Helene Seeman died, while Fred Seeman, was flown to a nearby hospital in critical condition.
According to Somerset County Acting Prosecutor A. Peter DeMarco, Jr., in Princeton, the actress hit another car and also fled the scene when the driver of that car attempted to call for help. The driver followed her and told the police that the 38-year-old star was “swerving and knocking down several mailboxes”.
Amy Locane-Bovenizer was driving under the influence of alcohol. She was arrested and taken to a medical center to have her blood-alcohol level tested. The actress has been charged with second-degree vehicular homicide and third-degree assault by automobile. Her bail was set at $50,000.
If convicted, Amy Locane-Bovenizer faces 5-10 years in state prison. Also, according to the state law, she would be required to serve 85 percent of the term without parole.
Amy Locane-Bovenizer is best known as aerobics instructor Sandy Louise Harling on the hit series ‘Melrose Place’. She married Mark Bovenizer in 2008 and the couple has two daughters.
