Tiger Woods didn't admit cheating on his wife in the first place, so why would Matt Lauer do it? According to what Lauer says, he and wife Annette had some marital issues but not the Woods kind.

After the National Enquirer  reported that Lauer and his wife split up because he'd been having an affair, the 'Today' show co-host angrily reacted.
"I am living in my apartment with Annette and my children as a family and a couple. I have never moved out. I am not moving out. There is no truth to that. Have we had a completely perfect, easy marriage? No. But the stories you've read over the years are not true. I don't think we're any different than any married couple that's been together for 12 years. The accusations are ridiculous and I'm not going to [dignify] them with an answer. It's not true", Lauer said in a statement.
"Out of self respect, I want to stand up for our family and protect them", Annette also said.
The couple have three children: sons Jack, 8, and Thijs, 3, and daughter Romy, 6.
