Maksim Chmerkovskiy has a new girlfriend: Peta Murgatroyd. According to Us Weekly, the two ‘Dancing With the Stars‘ pros are sharing a new romance.

It’s just the beginning of their relationship, but according to sources from the show, they are very nice together.

“Maks wanted a girlfriend. Peta is really sweet and an amazing girl who had a crush on him for a long time”, one source told the website. “They are really happy together and having a great time”, the source added.

This season, 32-year-old Maksim was paired with the recently eliminated Melissa Gilbert. Meanwhile, the New Zealand native is partnered with Season 14 finalist Donald Driver.

Previously, Maksim was engaged with another pro dancer Karina Smirnoff from 2008 until 2009 when they broke up.

In his ten appearances on the show, Maksim  Chmerkovskiy has made it to the final round four times, with two runner-up and two third place finishes.
