Lindsay Lohan gets new role in Bret Easton Ellis movie

Elizabeth Taylor role is giving Lindsay Lohan the chance to renew her almost nonexistent career. The 25-year-old actress is still filming on ‘Liz and Dick’ and she has already received another role. The troubled actress has been cast in Bret Easton Ellis’ next movie ‘The Canyons’.

“Shooting THE CANYONS starring James Deen and Lindsay Lohan: July 9-31 in L.A. Could not have dreamed of a better cast. Lindsay nailed it”, Ellis wrote on Twitter on Monday, June 11.

The author made it clear he was happy with the cast. “And I am beyond thrilled that James Deen and Lindsay Lohan will be playing the parts of Christian and Tara in THE CANYONS by BEE”, he added.

According to its Imdb description, the movie is “youth, glamor, sex and Los Angeles, circa 2012″. Perfection! The actress’ representative has already confirmed to Radar Online.com that Lohan would be in Ellis’ next movie.

Lindsay Lohan is currently playing young Elizabeth Taylor opposite Grant Bowler (who plays Richard Burton) in the Lifetime movie.

Most recently Lindsay Lohan was involved in a car accident with a truck on the Pacific Coast Highway. The accident occurred on Friday, June 8. According to Radar, the cops have strong evidence to prove that Lohan was “the sole reason for the traffic accident”.
