When Lady Gaga thinks she’s on Madonna’s steps, she’s actually many steps behind the ‘Material Girl’.

Taking Madonna’s example, Gaga wants to debut as an actress. According to British tabloid News of the World, after beating records last week with 13 MTV Video Music Awards nominations, Lady Gaga has set her sights on bigger screens with a Gaga-centric feature film. It looks like Gaga has in mind to do a film epic in the vein of Michael Jackson’s 1988 long-form music movie ‘Moonwalker’ and the 2006 film adaptation of ‘Dreamgirls’, which brought an Oscar to Jennifer Hudson.
“Gaga is a real creative genius and is thinking about new possibilities all the time. She’s very excited about a movie, but she wants to do it right. She wants to work with the best people in the business”, one source revealed.
Bryan Singer, ‘The Usual Suspects” director, is reportedly being eyed as a director for the as-yet-untitled blockbuster.
