Love is in the air, or better yet in the city for Kristin Davis. The 47-year-old actress confirmed her rumored romance with screenwriter Aaron Sorkin. How they did it? They just kissed on the lips on the red carpet at the Los Angeles premiere of HBO series The Newsroom Wednesday night, June 20. Do you need anymore proof?

51-year-old Sorkin was spotted grabbing Davis and giving her a big kiss. The former ‘Sex and the City’ actress seemed delighted to be seen in her new partner’s arms. She was wearing n A-line aquamarine dress and strappy stilettos.

“They are really happy. They have actually known each other a while through mutual friends and would sometimes bump into one another at industry events, but it has only just turned into something more”, one source told E! News last week.

Let’s hope that things will go just great between these two.

Davis was never married. last year she adopted a daughter named Gemma. As for the Oscar-winning screenwriter, he divorced  Julia Bingham back in 2005; they share a 12-year-old daughter Roxy.
