So the singer wants to become a British citizen. The couple is going to get married next month and Katy wants to start her new life by moving to the UK and becoming a British. She actually wants to obtain dual citizenship that will allow her to spend extended periods of time in her “second home”, England.
“When I get married next month, one of the first things I’ll do is apply for dual citizenship. I’m not too sure if I have to take a test as I’ve not had time to look into it. But England is like my second home”, the singer told London’s The Sun this week.
