Katie Holmes Joshua Jackson reconnected

Katie Holmes is reconnecting with her old friends…and lovers. The 33-year-old actress called Joshua Jackson for a long-overdue catch-up.

“Yeah, actually. Like any old friend, it was like, ‘Oh, hi how are ya? What’s going on?’ ‘I had a kid [Suri]‘. The chat was nice. It was very nice, actually”, the 35-year-old actor revealed on Canadian talk show George Stroumboulopoulos Tonight.

Holmes and Jackson costarred in ‘Dawson’s Creek’. They were also romantically linked, although the rumors were never confirmed. Jackson is currently dating Diane Kruger.

Dawson’s Creek went off the air in 2003 after five years. Rumor had it there is going to be a reunion, but Jackson did not confirm it. One thing is for sure. Katie was excited to reunite with Dawson’s costars Jackson, James Van Der Beek and Michelle Williams for a potential film. At the time (before her divorce), Katie was denied the permission to do a reunion movie by her husband Tom Cruise. “”[Producers] were begging her to sign on for a reunion movie. Tom said absolutely no way and thought going backward would be bad. She wanted to do the movie and reconnect with her fans. And have fun”, a source told Us Weekly.
