Katherine Heigl No More 'Grey's Anatomy'; More 'Killers' with Ashton Kutcher Instead!

Is Dr. Izzie Stevens coming back at the Seattle Grace Hospital or not? Because Katherine Heigl is surely not coming back on 'Grey's Anatomy''s set! At least not for the moment! Although the actress was scheduled to return on the set March 1 after three months of maternity leave, she wasn't seen at work.

The first clue is that, after six years spent on the series' set, Heigl wants to focus more on her film career. But ABC which airs 'Grey's Anatomy' made no comment in this matter.

On the other hand, according to Entertainment Weekly, 'Grey'’s creator Shonda Rhimes has agreed to release Heigl from her contract.  So it’s now left to ABC Studios and the actress’s representative to work out the final deal.
In the meanwhile, Heigl is playing the 'Killers' with Ashton Kutcher. The two of them co-star in one new action/comedy which involves romantic dates on the French Riviera and guns.
"Sweetie, your gun is showing", says Kutcher in the film. And the exasperated Heigl, yanking the ill-placed weapon from her waistband, responds, "Well, where do you expect me to put it? Have you seen the size of this thing?" Rough! The film will be released in theatres this summer.
