Kate Middleton in labor at St. Mary's Hospital, Paddington, London
The royal baby is about to arrive. Kate Middleton entered the hospital to give birth to her first child.
“Her Royal Highness The Duchess of Cambridge has been admitted this morning to St. Mary’s Hospital, Paddington, London in the early stages of labor. The Duchess traveled by car from Kensington Palace to the Lindo Wing at St. Mary’s Hospital with The Duke of Cambridge”, reads an official statement from Kensington Palace”.
It looks like Kate was already in labor when she was admitted to the hospital just before 6 a.m. in London.
Kate’s last official appearance was on June 15 when she showed up on the balcony of Buckingham Palace during a ceremony. In early July she was seen browsing antique stores or visiting her parents. “She’s been looking after herself – she just needs to make sure she’s okay”, a source close to Kate told People.
Once Kate will welcome her baby a notice will be posted on a wooden easel just inside Buckingham Palace railings.
