Kate Middleton wore Alexander McQueen during christening ceremony
Kate Middleton was the star of the day today, but his mom was also sparkling. The royal baby was baptized on October 23 at the Chapel Royal at St. James’s Palace.
Kate Middleton wore a cream-colored dress with ruffle detailing by Sarah Burton for Alexander McQueen. The 31-year-old Duchess of Cambridge competed her outfit with a cream-colored fascinator and coordinating pumps.
Meanwhile, Prince George was dressed up in a white satin and Honiton lace christening gown, a replica of the one created for Victoria, Princess Royal, back in 1841. The royal baby turned 3-month-old yesterday.
Queen Elizabeth II, Prince Charles, Prince Harry, Carole and Michael Middleton, and James and Pippa Middleton attended the christening ceremony. 22 people (including the baby’s seven godparents) were invited to attend the 45-minute ceremony presided over by the Archbishop of Canterbury.
Later the group headed over to Clarence House for a reception hosted by Prince Charles and his wife, Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall.
