What's actually happening on the 'American Idol' set? After on Thursday Ellen Degeneres announced that she's leaving the show, Kara DioGuardi was fired from the show.
According to TMZ.com, the show is going to come back to its first three-judge format. Now with Ellen and Kara's departures, the the judge's panel will consist of Randy Jackson, Jennifer Lopez and Steven Tyler.
It looks like the only chance for DioGuardi to stay would be for Lopez to refuse the job. But TMZ.com reports that deal deal is done.
