Johnny Depp and Vanessa Paradis have split. According to Celebuzz, the two “have amicably separated”. “Please respect their privacy and, more importantly, the privacy of their children”, Depp’s publicist told the website.

It looks like Depp was the one initiating the separation. Less than one month ago, the actor denied he and Vanessa had separated.

Lately Depp has been very distant with the mother of his children. Recently, the actor was romantically linked to Eva Green and Ashley Olsen.

The rumor about the couple being headed for a split started in late 2011.

49-year-old Depp started dating 39-year-old Paradis in 1998 while the actor was filming ‘The Ninth Gate’. They never tied the knot. The couple has two children together: Lily-Rose, 13, and John, 10.

Previously, Depp dated Sherilyn Feen, Winona Ryder and Kate Moss. Hewas married once to Lori Anne Allison in 1983. In 2009, Depp was named People’s Sexiest Man Alive.
