According to People, Captain Jack Sparrow from 'Pirates of the Caribbean' has won the title in a tight fight with sexy men like Hugh Jackman, Brad Pitt or Robert Pattinson. This is the second time in the last decade when 46 years old actor is named as the sexiest man in the world. The last time it was in 2003. "Johnny Depp was someone who was sexy 10 years ago. He'll be sexy 10 years from now. He's someone who appeals to multiple generations of women," Kate  Coyne senior editor at PEOPLE, said on CBS' 'Early Show', adding that Depp has achieved a "iconic status in terms of sexiness."
Johnny Depp is married to singer Vanessa Paradis; the couple has two children together. He is well known as Jack Sparrow in the 'Pirates of the Caribbean' film franchise, Raoul Duke in 'Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas,' and Sam in 'Benny & Joon.' Not to mention films like 'Edward Scissorhands,' 'Sleepy Hollow,' and 'Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.'
