While in the court room, the actor talked about his interaction with the paramedic/defendant while they were trying to save his son who died from a rare disease. “My son was autistic and he suffered from seizure disorder every 5 to 10 days. He would suffer a seizure that would last 45 seconds to a minute and sleep for 12 hours”, Travolta told the court. He also revealed his reaction to the alleged extortion demand.
The ‘Pulp Fiction’ actor described how desperately he tried to save his son’s life. John Travolta revealed that, on January 2 this year, Jett’s nanny woke him up at around 10:15 AM telling that his son was unconscious in the bathroom. The actor run to help his son and saw him on the ground and one of the caretakers was doing chest compressions. Travolta says he performed CPR on Jett, ultimately to no avail. “I took the place of the woman who was doing CPR. She was an employee of Old Bahama Bay who I recognized as such”,he said.
